Thala Ajith gives a unique flavor with his personality and smartness

From sporting flashy bikes to cool watches and a rugged hoodie, Ajith - Gautham Menon's Yennai Arindhaal team released another exclusive poster yesterday. Needless to say, the poster became viral on the social media. Now, this poster looks like an extension of the first one.

 

The look

 

'Thala' like always looks stylish and charming, riding a Royal Enfield. Ajith sports the same clean white shirt, a cop's 'khaki' pant, smart aviators, dark black dyed hair and a cool watch. Maybe a candid ride after an action-packed sequence?

 

With a personal interest towards racing and bikes, Ajith looks very straight-forward and tranquil. The movie is said to feature him in many looks, tracing a journey from 14 to 40. Though the styling looks similar to Kamal's in Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu in terms of the pose, clean shave with a mustache, the crew cut and smart aviators, Ajith gives a unique flavor with his personality and smartness. Credits to the costume designer Uthara Menon (Gautham's sister) too.

 

The poster design

 

All the posters feature a blue or green tinge, the colours that depict stability and tranquility. The font used shows strength, endurance, sharpness and manliness. Some similar ones are used in Gautham's previous cop films like Kaakha Kaakha and Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu as well, with sharp edges and a white-grey gradient, positioning the title stronger in the minds of the audience.

 

The Name

 

Yennai Arindaal means 'If you know me...', the name leaves an open end to the audience by not exactly telling a definite subject. The name also ends with three dots symbolizing the continuity and depth in the title.

 

Now is it a sign for a sequel? or what are we to expect 'if we know' the cop? or is it an all-new police experience?
